  Based on Isabella Bartholomew's research, the Kirk records where he was Elder noted that he was witness in the following incident: "November 29th 1702. Deleted to the Session, Helen Samuel, Jeels Maxweel, and Agnes Ramsay for scolding one arroyt ordred them to be cite agst next Sabbath with Isabella Samuel and Agnes Morison. George Young and James Bartleman, witnesses". Could this Agnes Morison be the same that married Archibald Bartholomew?
